San Clemente in November
Good time to visit
November offers mild weather and low-season pricing as summer crowds disappear. It's not beach weather every day, but the relaxed atmosphere and affordability make up for it.
Weather
November transitions into San Clemente's mild winter with cooler temperatures but still plenty of sunny days. Marine layers return more frequently, and the chance of rain increases. Santa Ana winds can still bring warm, dry spells between storm systems.

November Tips
- •Thanksgiving weekend can be surprisingly busy as locals stay in town
- •This is a great month for exploring downtown San Clemente without summer crowds
- •Bring layers - morning fog and afternoon sun create big temperature swings
All Months
April through October brings the best weather, but each season has its personality. Spring offers the most consistent surf and fewer crowds. The marine layer burns off earlier, giving you more sunshine.
Summer means peak season everything — packed beaches, higher prices, and traffic on PCH. But the water warms up to actually swimmable temperatures, and the town comes alive with festivals and outdoor concerts.
Fall might be the secret sweet spot. September and October deliver warm days, smaller crowds, and some of the year's best surf. The Santa Ana winds can make things hot and dry, but they also create those crystal-clear days when you can see Catalina Island.
Winter isn't written off entirely. The storms bring bigger swells for experienced surfers, and hotel rates drop significantly. Just pack layers — morning fog can keep things cool until noon.
