Hacienda de San Antonio in April
Great time to visit
Last month of truly comfortable weather before the heat kicks in. Easter celebrations add cultural richness but also crowds.
Weather
April heat arrives but stays manageable. Warm, dry days with increasing humidity that makes afternoons feel hotter than the thermometer suggests. Still mostly clear with brief afternoon showers starting to appear.

All Months
November through April offers perfect weather — warm days around 75°F and cool evenings that make you want to linger over dinner. December and January bring the most crowds, especially around holidays when wealthy Mexico City families book the place solid.
March hits the sweet spot. Fewer crowds, perfect temperatures, and the jacaranda trees bloom purple across the property. The rainy season (May through October) isn't necessarily bad — afternoon thunderstorms clear quickly, and the gardens explode with color. But some outdoor activities get cancelled, and the humidity makes the colonial stone buildings feel stuffy.
Book at least three months ahead for winter visits. Summer reservations open up more easily, but you'll deal with 90°F days and afternoon downpours that can last hours.
