Hacienda de San Antonio in June
Not the best time
Hot and humid with frequent storms. Tourist numbers drop significantly, which means great deals but you'll be battling the weather daily.
Weather
June brings serious heat and the official start of rainy season. Hot, humid days with regular afternoon thunderstorms. The rain provides relief but makes everything muggy afterwards.

June Tips
- •Book accommodations with strong AC - you'll need it
- •Plan outdoor activities for early morning only
- •Pack quick-dry clothes and a good rain jacket
All Months
November through April offers perfect weather — warm days around 75°F and cool evenings that make you want to linger over dinner. December and January bring the most crowds, especially around holidays when wealthy Mexico City families book the place solid.
March hits the sweet spot. Fewer crowds, perfect temperatures, and the jacaranda trees bloom purple across the property. The rainy season (May through October) isn't necessarily bad — afternoon thunderstorms clear quickly, and the gardens explode with color. But some outdoor activities get cancelled, and the humidity makes the colonial stone buildings feel stuffy.
Book at least three months ahead for winter visits. Summer reservations open up more easily, but you'll deal with 90°F days and afternoon downpours that can last hours.
