Hvar in November
Not the best time
November marks the start of Hvar's quiet season with cool, wet weather and many closures. Great for budget travelers and wine enthusiasts, but pack rain gear and don't expect beach weather.
Weather
November turns cool and wet with 15°C days and chilly 9°C nights that feel raw near the water. Rain increases significantly to 10-11 days monthly, often lasting several hours. The sea drops to 16°C - definitely too cold for most swimmers.

All Months
July and August bring the heat – both temperature-wise and party-wise. Expect 30°C days, packed beaches, and nightlife that doesn't quit until sunrise. This is peak season for good reason, but also peak prices and crowds.
June and September are the sweet spot. You get 25°C weather, swimmable seas, and most places open, but without the August madness. Hotel prices drop by about 30% compared to peak summer.
May works if you don't mind cooler water (around 20°C). The lavender starts blooming, creating those Instagram-worthy purple fields. Some beach clubs might not be open yet, but the island feels more authentic.
Avoid October through April unless you're here for complete solitude. Most tourist facilities close, ferry schedules reduce dramatically, and while the weather can be pleasant, you'll find a very different – and much quieter – Hvar.
