November Tips

  • Excellent value as weather improves but peak season pricing hasn't kicked in
  • Water visibility improves dramatically for diving and snorkeling
  • Book accommodations now before December price hikes

All Months

November through April delivers the sweet spot – dry skies, calm seas, and perfect snorkeling visibility. December and January see the most crowds and highest prices, but the weather stays consistently excellent. February and March offer the best value with fewer tourists but still great conditions. The southwest monsoon from May to October brings rain and choppy waters, though you'll find rock-bottom accommodation prices. Here's what locals won't tell you – even rainy season has plenty of sunny periods, and the storms usually pass quickly. Just expect some snorkeling trips to get canceled. Water temperature stays around 28°C year-round, so you won't need a wetsuit. The best underwater visibility happens during the dry months when sediment settles.
