Mũi Né in June
Not the best time
June combines the worst of both worlds - oppressive heat plus increasing rainfall. Only the bargain prices and total absence of crowds make this month remotely appealing.
Weather
Rainy season officially begins but starts slowly. Temperatures remain scorching at 33°C highs with 28°C lows. Short, intense downpours provide brief relief but humidity stays suffocating.

June Tips
- •Carry an umbrella everywhere
- •Book accommodations with good drainage
- •Kitesurfing becomes inconsistent due to changing wind patterns
All Months
November through April is prime time. The weather stays dry, temperatures hover around 26-30°C, and the wind conditions are perfect for kitesurfing. December and January are peak months — expect higher prices and more crowds, especially around Christmas and Tet. But here's what most guides don't tell you: the shoulder months (November and April) actually offer the best value. Hotels drop their rates, the beaches aren't packed, and you still get great weather. May through October brings rain and humidity, plus the wind dies down, making it useless for water sports. The red sand dunes turn muddy, and half the tour operators shut down. If you're coming just for the beaches and don't care about activities, the rainy season means rock-bottom accommodation prices — just pack an umbrella.
