San José del Cabo in February
Great time to visit
The most expensive and crowded month, but also when Los Cabos shows its absolute best face. Weather doesn't get better than this anywhere.
Weather
February continues the dry season perfection with warm days and cool nights. Humidity stays low while sunshine dominates - you'll get maybe one cloudy day all month. Ocean temperatures hover around 22°C, perfect for swimming.

February Tips
- •This is the busiest month - expect long waits at restaurants without reservations
- •Book sunset cruises early in the day as they sell out
- •Consider staying in San José del Cabo town center for better prices than the resort corridor
All Months
November through April delivers perfect weather – highs in the low 80s, minimal rain, and gentle breezes off the water. This is peak season, so expect crowds and higher prices, especially around holidays.
December and January see the biggest crowds and highest prices. Christmas week is particularly insane – book months ahead or pay premium rates for whatever's left.
March and April offer a sweet spot: great weather, fewer crowds than winter months, and slightly better deals. Spring break brings college crowds to nearby Cabo San Lucas, but San José stays relatively calm.
May through October brings heat and humidity that can be brutal. Temperatures hit the 90s regularly, and hurricane season (June-November) brings storm risks. But hotel rates drop significantly, and you'll have beaches mostly to yourself.
August and September are the worst for weather – hot, humid, and peak hurricane risk. Skip these months unless you're chasing serious deals and don't mind sweating through every activity.
