San José del Cabo in July
Not the best time
The heat becomes genuinely oppressive for most visitors. Rock-bottom prices reflect the challenging conditions - only worth it for serious heat lovers or budget travelers.
Weather
July cranks up the heat and humidity to uncomfortable levels. Expect sweltering days with little breeze and warm, sticky nights. Afternoon thunderstorms become more frequent but provide only temporary relief.

July Tips
- •Seriously consider if you can handle extreme heat and humidity
- •Book resorts with excellent pool facilities and AC
- •Hydrate constantly and seek shade during midday hours
All Months
November through April delivers perfect weather – highs in the low 80s, minimal rain, and gentle breezes off the water. This is peak season, so expect crowds and higher prices, especially around holidays.
December and January see the biggest crowds and highest prices. Christmas week is particularly insane – book months ahead or pay premium rates for whatever's left.
March and April offer a sweet spot: great weather, fewer crowds than winter months, and slightly better deals. Spring break brings college crowds to nearby Cabo San Lucas, but San José stays relatively calm.
May through October brings heat and humidity that can be brutal. Temperatures hit the 90s regularly, and hurricane season (June-November) brings storm risks. But hotel rates drop significantly, and you'll have beaches mostly to yourself.
August and September are the worst for weather – hot, humid, and peak hurricane risk. Skip these months unless you're chasing serious deals and don't mind sweating through every activity.
