All Months
Spring (March-May) is Seoul at its most beautiful. Cherry blossoms bloom along the Han River in early April, and temperatures hover around 15-20°C (59-68°F). Book hotels early – this is peak season and prices reflect it.
Fall (September-November) rivals spring for perfect weather. October temperatures around 18°C (64°F) make walking comfortable, and autumn leaves turn Namsan Park into a postcard. Plus, it's persimmon season – street vendors sell them everywhere.
Summer (June-August) brings humidity that feels like breathing through a wet towel. Temperatures hit 30°C (86°F) with 80% humidity. But Seoul adapts – underground shopping centers become refuges, and cold noodle dishes like naengmyeon appear on every menu.
Winter (December-February) is brutal but beautiful. Temperatures drop to -10°C (14°F), but Christmas markets pop up in Myeongdong and ice skating rinks open along the Han River. Hotel prices drop significantly.
