Siwa Oasis in April
Good time to visit
April is when Siwa starts flexing its desert muscles. Still manageable if you adjust your schedule, but summer is definitely coming. Fewer tourists mean better prices.
Weather
April brings the first taste of serious heat with daytime temperatures hitting 32°C. Nights are pleasantly mild around 16°C. The dry desert air makes it feel less oppressive than it sounds, but you'll definitely notice the change.

All Months
October through March offers perfect weather - warm days around 25°C and cool nights that actually require a jacket. December and January see the most visitors, but Siwa never feels crowded.
Avoid summer completely. July temperatures hit 45°C, and the desert becomes genuinely dangerous during midday. Even locals stay indoors from noon to 4 PM.
Ramadan brings a special atmosphere as the entire oasis observes the fast together. But restaurant hours get unpredictable, and some attractions close early. Spring brings wildflowers to the desert after rare rains - a magical sight if you're lucky.
