Marfa in November
Great time to visit
Another standout month where Marfa shows off completely. The weather cooperates beautifully for every activity, though crowds and prices reflect the desirability.
Weather
November maintains October's excellent conditions with slightly cooler temperatures and consistently comfortable days. Mornings turn genuinely chilly, requiring jackets, but afternoons warm beautifully. Rain remains rare, keeping skies clear for stargazing.

All Months
October through April offers the best weather in this high desert climate. Daytime temperatures hover in the 60s-70s, perfect for walking between galleries and outdoor installations.
Winter months (December-February) can get surprisingly cold at night – temperatures drop into the 20s-30s. But sunny days remain pleasant, and you'll have the town mostly to yourself.
Spring (March-April) brings wildflowers to the surrounding desert and ideal weather conditions. This is peak season for good reason.
Summer is brutal. June through August sees temperatures regularly hit 100°F with intense sun and little shade. Most outdoor art installations become uncomfortable to visit during midday hours.
Special events drive accommodation prices up. The Marfa Myths music festival (April) and various art openings throughout the year create mini-rush periods.
Monsoon season (July-September) brings afternoon thunderstorms that can flood low-lying areas and make dirt roads impassable. But the lightning shows are spectacular.
