Cali in January
Great time to visit
One of the absolute best times to visit Cali. The weather cooperates completely and the city still buzzes with post-Feria energy, though you'll pay peak season prices.
Weather
January brings Cali's dry season in full swing. Expect sunny days with low humidity and practically zero rainfall. The evenings cool down nicely, making it perfect for outdoor dining in Zona Rosa.

- •Take advantage of clear skies for day trips to nearby coffee farms
All Months
December through February brings perfect weather — sunny days around 80°F with minimal rain. This is peak season though, so expect higher hotel prices and crowded salsa clubs. Book accommodations early if you're coming during Christmas or New Year's.
June through August offers another sweet spot with great weather and fewer crowds than the December rush. Hotel prices drop by about 20%, and you'll have more space to breathe at popular spots like Parque del Perro.
Avoid March through May and September through November — these are rainy months with afternoon downpours that can last hours. The rain isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, but it limits outdoor activities and makes getting around more challenging.
Feria de Cali happens the last week of December and is absolutely electric if you love salsa. The entire city becomes one giant dance party. But if crowds and noise aren't your thing, skip this week entirely.
