Cali in November
Not the best time
The peak of rainy season with frequent, heavy storms that can wash out entire afternoons. While prices hit rock bottom, the weather makes it hard to enjoy what Cali has to offer.
Weather
November continues the intense rainy season with some of the heaviest downpours of the year. The humidity reaches uncomfortable levels and afternoon storms can last for hours. Even mornings often start cloudy and threatening.

- •If you must come, book accommodations with good common areas for rainy afternoons
- •Pack entertainment for extended indoor periods
All Months
December through February brings perfect weather — sunny days around 80°F with minimal rain. This is peak season though, so expect higher hotel prices and crowded salsa clubs. Book accommodations early if you're coming during Christmas or New Year's.
June through August offers another sweet spot with great weather and fewer crowds than the December rush. Hotel prices drop by about 20%, and you'll have more space to breathe at popular spots like Parque del Perro.
Avoid March through May and September through November — these are rainy months with afternoon downpours that can last hours. The rain isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, but it limits outdoor activities and makes getting around more challenging.
Feria de Cali happens the last week of December and is absolutely electric if you love salsa. The entire city becomes one giant dance party. But if crowds and noise aren't your thing, skip this week entirely.
