Cali in March
Good time to visit
A solid shoulder season choice. The weather remains mostly cooperative with just enough rain to cool things down, and prices drop as the tourist rush subsides.
Weather
March marks the transition period with occasional afternoon showers starting to appear. Humidity begins to climb, and you'll notice more clouds building up in the afternoons. Still plenty of sunshine, but the dry season is winding down.

All Months
December through February brings perfect weather — sunny days around 80°F with minimal rain. This is peak season though, so expect higher hotel prices and crowded salsa clubs. Book accommodations early if you're coming during Christmas or New Year's.
June through August offers another sweet spot with great weather and fewer crowds than the December rush. Hotel prices drop by about 20%, and you'll have more space to breathe at popular spots like Parque del Perro.
Avoid March through May and September through November — these are rainy months with afternoon downpours that can last hours. The rain isn't necessarily a deal-breaker, but it limits outdoor activities and makes getting around more challenging.
Feria de Cali happens the last week of December and is absolutely electric if you love salsa. The entire city becomes one giant dance party. But if crowds and noise aren't your thing, skip this week entirely.
