Kampot in February
Great time to visit
Another stellar month with ideal weather and active local life. The Pepper Festival alone makes it worth the crowds and inflated accommodation prices.
Weather
Still prime dry season with comfortable temperatures and crystal clear skies. Humidity stays manageable and rain is practically non-existent. Perfect conditions for motorbike trips and outdoor dining.

All Months
November through March delivers perfect weather — dry, sunny, and temperatures in the comfortable 70s-80s. This is peak season, so book accommodations ahead and expect higher prices.
April gets hot. Really hot. Temperatures push into the 90s with oppressive humidity. But you'll have the place mostly to yourself, and room rates drop by half.
The rainy season (May-October) brings afternoon downpours that cool things down but can flood the streets. Some guesthouses close, and boat trips get cancelled. But the countryside turns emerald green, and you'll see Kampot at its most atmospheric — just pack an umbrella.
