Manali in February
Great time to visit
February delivers the sweet spot of winter visits - clear views, manageable cold, and fewer tourists than peak season. The mountains show off their best angles when the air is this crisp.
Weather
February maintains the winter chill with clearer skies than January. Morning frost gives way to pleasant sunny afternoons, though temperatures still require warm clothing. Snow becomes less frequent but the peaks remain white-capped.

All Months
November through April is peak season for good reason. Temperatures hover around 25°C and humidity drops to bearable levels. You can actually walk around during the day without melting. Hotel prices jump during this period, especially around Formula 1 in March.
December and January offer the best weather but expect crowds. The Manali shopping festival runs through January, bringing deals but also packed malls and restaurants. Book accommodations early if you're visiting during these months.
May through October is brutal. We're talking 40°C+ with humidity that makes breathing feel like work. But here's the thing - hotel rates drop by 40-50% and you'll have attractions mostly to yourself. The malls become your refuge, and evening activities start after 8 PM when the sun finally shows mercy.
