Manaus in June
Great time to visit
June finally delivers the Manaus experience you came for - comfortable weather, accessible jungle, and emerging river beaches. This is when the city shows its true personality without weather getting in the way.
Weather
June delivers the first truly pleasant weather of the year. Rain becomes occasional and brief rather than the dominant force. Humidity drops to almost tolerable levels around 70-75%. Temperatures stay warm but feel much more comfortable without constant moisture.

All Months
Dry season runs June through October, and it's when most people visit. Water levels drop, beaches appear along the Rio Negro, and jungle hikes are actually possible without drowning in mud. Temperatures hover around 32°C (90°F) with lower humidity.
But here's the thing — dry season means crowds and higher prices. Hotel rates can double during peak months (July-September).
Wet season (November through May) is intense. We're talking 250+ rainy days per year. But the forest comes alive, waterfalls are at full power, and you'll have many places to yourself. Plus, high water levels mean you can canoe deep into the forest.
The shoulder months — June and October — offer the best of both worlds. Some rain, but not constant. Reasonable prices. And you can still do most activities.
Avoid March and April unless you love rain. The city can flood, and many jungle tours shut down completely.
