Munnar in February
Great time to visit
Another stellar month with perfect weather conditions. The crowds remain thick and prices stay high, but you'll understand why once you're sipping tea watching the sunrise over endless green hills.
Weather
February continues the dry spell with slightly warmer days but still pleasantly cool nights. Humidity stays low and the occasional morning mist adds drama to the tea estates. Rain is almost non-existent.

All Months
October through May gives you the best weather – clear skies, comfortable temperatures, and minimal rain. December and January can actually get cold enough for sweaters, with temperatures dropping to 5°C at night. This is peak season though, so expect crowds and inflated prices. The monsoons from June to September transform the landscape into something otherworldly – everything turns impossibly green and waterfalls appear overnight. But heavy rains make some roads impassable and outdoor activities risky. Here's the sweet spot: visit in October or April for good weather without the December-January crowds. The tea plants look their greenest just after monsoon season ends.
