Brazzaville in March
Not the best time
March teases you with glimpses of better weather to come, but you're still dealing with regular rains and oppressive heat. Not quite time to visit, but at least you can see light at the end of the tunnel.
Weather
March marks the tail end of rainy season, though you'll still get caught in downpours every few days. Temperatures remain uncomfortably hot, and the humidity makes everything feel sticky. At least the rains are becoming more predictable - usually late afternoon thunderstorms.

All Months
May through September brings the dry season with cooler temperatures and less humidity. Daytime highs hover around 26-28°C (79-82°F) instead of the brutal 35°C (95°F) of wet season. Rain basically stops, making river trips and walking around much more pleasant. This period also coincides with festival season — the Fête de la Musique in June fills the streets with live performances. October through April gets hot and soggy. Daily afternoon thunderstorms flood streets and make getting around miserable. But hotel prices drop and you'll have tourist sites mostly to yourself. December and January see the heaviest rains. The city practically shuts down some afternoons when storms roll in. If you can handle the heat and humidity, wet season offers a different perspective on local life.
