Brazzaville in November
Good time to visit
November signals the return of challenging tropical conditions. The comfortable dry season weather is officially over, and you'll start planning your day around heat and intermittent rains.
Weather
November ramps up the heat and humidity as Brazzaville transitions toward rainy season. Temperatures push into uncomfortable territory during midday, and the air starts feeling heavy again. Rain becomes more frequent, though not yet the daily deluge that's coming.

All Months
May through September brings the dry season with cooler temperatures and less humidity. Daytime highs hover around 26-28°C (79-82°F) instead of the brutal 35°C (95°F) of wet season. Rain basically stops, making river trips and walking around much more pleasant. This period also coincides with festival season — the Fête de la Musique in June fills the streets with live performances. October through April gets hot and soggy. Daily afternoon thunderstorms flood streets and make getting around miserable. But hotel prices drop and you'll have tourist sites mostly to yourself. December and January see the heaviest rains. The city practically shuts down some afternoons when storms roll in. If you can handle the heat and humidity, wet season offers a different perspective on local life.
