Orange Beach in February
Good time to visit
February offers slightly better weather than January with the same low crowds and prices. It's still jacket weather, but you'll start seeing hints of the beautiful spring to come.
Weather
February stays cool with temperatures slowly creeping upward as the month progresses. Rain is less frequent than January, and you might get a few genuinely warm afternoons. The Gulf is still too cold for swimming unless you're particularly hardy.

All Months
March through May gives you perfect weather without summer crowds. The Gulf water hits 75 degrees by April, and hotel rates stay reasonable. Summer brings families and higher prices, but also the best fishing and water sports conditions. September and October offer the sweet spot — warm water, fewer crowds, and hurricane season winding down. Just avoid July and August unless you love 90-degree heat and packed beaches. Hurricane season runs June through November, but most storms miss Alabama. Still, book refundable accommodations during peak hurricane months. Spring Break hits in March, but Orange Beach stays calmer than other Gulf Coast destinations.
