Valencia in July
Great time to visit
July brings peak summer heat and peak tourist crowds to Valencia. The weather is reliably gorgeous, but you'll pay premium prices and fight for beach space.
Weather
July delivers full Mediterranean summer with hot, dry days and warm nights. The sun dominates with barely a cloud in sight, and sea breezes provide the only natural cooling. Humidity stays manageable despite the heat.

July Tips

- •Beach umbrellas and sunscreen are non-negotiable
- •Many locals leave the city in August - July still has good restaurant availability
All Months
April through October gives you the best weather, but here's the thing about timing in Valencia: avoid Las Fallas (March 15-19) unless you're specifically coming for it. The festival is incredible - giant sculptures, fireworks, street parties - but hotel prices triple and the city becomes absolute chaos.
May and June are perfect. The weather hits 25°C, the beaches are swimmable, and you beat the summer crowds. September and October work just as well - the sea stays warm from summer, but the tourist masses have gone home.
Winter isn't terrible if you're on a budget. January temperatures hover around 15°C, many restaurants close for vacation, but you'll have the City of Arts and Sciences practically to yourself. Just don't expect beach weather.
